Jim Rasenberger is the author of three books‚ÄĒThe Brilliant Disaster, America 1908, and High Steel– and has¬†contributed to¬†The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Smithsonian, and Wilson Quarterly, among other publications. His work¬†appears in¬†New York Stories: Best of the City Section of the New York Times (ed. Constance Rosenblum),¬†The New York Times Book of New York (ed. James Barron), and Portrait of America, Vol.II (ed. Stephen B. Oates).¬†Rasenberger has also¬†written¬†for film and television,¬†including a¬†treatment of High Steel that was¬†adapted as an ABC pilot (Empire State). A native of Washington, D.C., he lives in New York City with his wife and sons.
